CDI West Indies 8 year old is a blend of English and Spanish style rums.
Barbados Pot Still rum is blended here with 3 column still rums from Guyana, the Dominican Republic and Panama. And then aged in American Oak barrels for 8 years.
Nose: Delicate fragrant mixture of macerated fruits then scents of barley sugar, honey, peach and sweet spices.
Mouth: The attack is frank with notes of honey and spices, then continues with barley sugar and smoked molasses. The mid-palate offers hints of vanilla pods intertwined with aromas of rhubarb and licorice.
