S.B.S Jamaica 2013 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 859 bottles.
The rum is from the Worthy Park distillery in Jamaica and is made from molasses.
The rum has been distilled in a pot still in 2013 and was bottled in 1423 warehouse in Denmark in October 2021. The rum has matured in a ex Bourbon for 8 years followed by a second maturation in an ex Brandy barrel. As common practice for Single Barrel Selection rums, no chill filtration has been used.
Nose: A touch of brimstone at first turning into notes of brown sugar and pastry. A splash of water reveils oaky aromas.
Taste: Salted caramel, a touch of smoke paired with a hint of pepper. The finish is long with a floral touch.
